Machete or trail clearing tool????

Imacasa, Condor, Tramontina, or Cold Steel...not to metnion others. Lots of good choices available to ya' for not much money. The question is what kind of targets are you mostly facing, and to what degrees of frequency? Is having a sheath important? Blade length you'd like it over or under? Other preferences?
