The Fiddleback Machete sheaths are starting to ship so I thought I'd post pictures for you guys to check out.

Please note that these pictures were taken before I fitted the keeper straps. From Left to right: left handed 12" Chestnut, 12" Brown, 14" brown w/fire-steel loop, 12" brown

I'm working on those sheaths this weekend. Will post pics of them as soon as they are ready. :)
 
Hey Heber,

Just sent an E-mail regarding a 18" Chestnut for a Fiddleback machete.
 
Added a 16" un colored sheath that I just finished. Aside from the tie down loop going strange durring wet molding, I think the sheath turned out rather well.

I just got more leather in today so I'll be starting your sheath tomorrow. :) Should have pics of some other customs tonight or in the morning.
 
How about a picture of a 12" machete in a sheath hanging off you belt so we have an idea how they carry? (or other size if that is all you have) Seems like they hang pretty low and will "flop" around. :confused:

How about a leather strip to tie around leg?

I'll see what I can do. Been at my mom's since Wednesday afternoon taking care of here while she was sick. She's much better now so I'll see if she can take a picture of me wearing one. Give me till tomorrow evening.

Are you interested in a simple leather lace strap or a 1" strap with metal buckle? Here is a 1" strap with Nickel buckle that I made for my self a few weeks ago:

Oh, man, I was hoping you had posted pics of the square-bottomed sheaths! I guess it makes sense that Mom comes first! ;) Hope she's doing better.

She is. BTW I finished stitching both of your sheaths this afternoon. Will finish them up in the morning and post pictures. I want you to see them and make sure they turned out okay before I mail them off. It's the first time I ever made a sheath like that before and am a little nervious. :o
