Machete

I keep hearing about Condor's new stuff, but haven't really seen anything. Could sombody post a link? Thanks!;)

I bought a "panga" style machete from Sarco years ago. It's a Aguila y Corneta (Eagle and Trumpet) from Columbia. Used it recently to clean up downed tree limbs from a Winter storm. Easily cut through 3" branches (hardwood) with a little effort, and sharpens quickly with a mill file. Wish I would have bought more of them,...picked it up in the early 90's for around $6. Those were the days!...............A couple of years ago I picked up a Cold Steel Kukri machete for $13 from Smokey Mtn, carry it strapped to my pack when hiking. Good firewood harvesting tool and last-ditch bear medicine!

Tramontina and Cold Steel for lighter and heavier vegetation, respectively.
For heavier woody type plant material the HI Chitlangi khukuri comes out and goes to work.
