I have an Engineered for Axemen hatchet. It is machined tool steel. An absolute beast, light saber through wood. While packable, it is still on the large size to take canoeing/backpacking.
Does anyone know if there is anything comparable (quality wise) in the 1-2 pound range currently being produced? I do not make sound financial decisions so price is not very relevant. Fiskars, gransfors, hults bruk need not apply, I have plenty of those and they are perfectly serviceable but.. I am looking for top tier machined excellence
