Machining annealed 1084

For determining speeds and feeds, would it be considered as a "mild" steel or something else?

Mild steels usually contain low amounts of carbon...like 0.25% or less as I recall. 1084 would not be considered a mild steel, but would be considered a tool steel.
 
Yup. Look at the speeds and feeds for W1.

I was confused with this because I was thinking too much into the hardness' of the steels?
