WITHOUT PREJUDICE/WITH NO MALICE. The following is a statement of
facts, as I believe the facts to be true and correct, upon investigation and direct
inquiries.
This is a NOTICE OF CAUTION in the form of ADVICE to anyone
contemplating a situation of trust in business with Mr. Blade

Over the last several months I have talked to many people in the industry that have
had less than honorable dealings with Mr. Allen Blade, AKA Scott Allen Fowler.
Of the people I have talked to, I was the one most familiar with the forums and
volunteered to post this information. It has been sad for me to hear all the stories
on how these friends and acquaintances of mine were bilked out of THOUSANDS
of dollars, and hurt their reputations in the process. Where I can, I have double
checked all the information posted. I was very hesitant to get into this but after
hearing all the stories from these folks, I felt the truth should be known. I am very
sure this is only the tip of the iceberg, as the more I look the more I find! Except
where noted, all the information and names are used with permission with contact
information.

And please, before you mention his recent divorce and move, know that all those
listed below had their bad dealings before any of this took place. I expect to take
some heat for this, but wouldn?t be posting this information if I thought it wasn?t
worth letting folks know to beware dealing with Allen Blade! Also, Spark has
been aware of this for a while now and has given me his blessing to post this.

Here is a list of some of the people I have talked to, I wont get into the personal
side, but just list names and amounts they can prove or feel is owed to them by
Allen. Also, please excuse my spelling and grammar, never was any good at it!

saddest story I heard so far as Joe Chen ordered these knives and paid for up front
for his annual forum knife. He feels his reputation was badly hurt over this, but
being the trooper he is continues to buy knives in the forum here.

trades etc. that went bad. The $8000 is a conservative estimate of actual out of
pocket money lost.

machinery bought for Allen that Allen sold for cash. 4 of a total of 24 knives paid
for were delivered.

This is just the start, there is many more people that I either haven?t
contacted yet or they wish to remain anonymous! I have on the list over $16,000 in
anonymous money owed. I probably shouldn?t have even bothered to mention that
but felt it is important as well.

Added up that is about $38,000 in un honorable exchanges, and there is more! I
will add to this if necessary and asked to. Feel free to add your own comments,
Good, Bad or Ugly!

My own dealings with Allen Blade have been less than salutory in nature.
Although a talented knifemaker in his own right, he seems to be entirely lacking in responsible ethics of a personal or business nature. Unfortunately, I have ample proof of this from my own business and personal dealings with him.
Also, I have personally verified some of the deals gone bad listed by Rob above, and I have no reason to doubt the others.

I strongly recommend against doing any business with Allen Blade.

Yep your right Kevin our dealing have been less than satisfactory, remember i was the one who sold my property and moved my family in with yours in Kalifornia to become your partner in the debacle that was the GREAT SEAL ATAK saga, It was Me that worked and ground blades for you without PAY, and belive me , Room and Board for wages went out in the early 1800`s. SO i have a question Kevin, where is the Money YOU and Teryl Owe me for my work? Remember its Documented i worked for you, do you have Cancelled check stubs for paying me anything?
Do you have signed recipts from me for getting any pay? i know the answer to that,,, NO,,why because you exploited myself for your gain and never payed me. Kinda like calling the kettle Black dont ya think?

Remember a little letter i sent to you demanding my pay for working with you that you so nicely replied to in your usuall fashion when you know your wrong? I bet you do. But it was ok because i figured why cry about it in public because i will Never see a dime of it, because Kevin is always right about whatever he thinks is truth. I have excepted that and moved on, but you chose to post unthruths that our dealings we bad on my part, get real. Remember i am the one that left you, not the opposite. I was the one offered equal partnership in MD knives and had it told to me that you and the wife had changed your minds. which was fine, thus i left. And you call me dishonest?
we can talk about selling Navy knives , to civilians when the navy paid you for them first if you like, or we can talk about making numerous sets of so called limited editions and passing them off as the only set, we can talk about proprietary G-10 , which isnt as i know who your supplier was,,, Remember? We can talk about all the BS background of yours which has been proven false by more than myself, now lets talk about dishonesty shall we? ALso we can talk about how you claim Augie got your brain power through you being his father ,,,when in fact you forget that he isnt even your natural son, how did that happen?

I told you Kevin i was going to leave you alone and not bother you anymore about our past relationship working together, as i didnt care who you scammed into beliving your propeitary BS and past secret Spook history(B.S), but when you choose to say untrue things about our relationship you bring it on yourself. You can fill everyone on this FOrum a heaping load of Dung if you like just dont make it sound like i am the bad guy in our dealings,,, the same i said with ROB since you know so much about me, where is the proof, documented hard in writting proof.

I am sure you will either Lock or delete this in your normal manner, which is fine as i copied it and will paste it on Bladeforums.

Remember somtimes not everything that seems a certain way is truth, there is a side to every conflict and you just found yours.

Mr. Blade, I hope my making a suggestion doesn't offend you. If either you or your wife(business manager) contacted each person you have dealings with and work out a mutually agreeable timetable, and if you then follow through, you will gain the entire knife world's respect. We've all had/have problems, the champions are the ones that work through them. Everyone deserves a second chance(I know!), it's what we do with it that counts.

As for the companies that ripped you off,if it can be proven, nail them to the wall. And learn from it and don't give anybody else the opportunity to do this to you again. You're not the first maker to have his designs ripped off. Check out S&W's neck knife with whistle.

I took the trouble to read the thread at tacticalforums.com that you mention, and it sure seems to me that you're over-reacting. Consider:

You requested info about market values of rare Mad Dogs. This information was provided.

You then offered several rare Mad Dogs for sale for $5000usd (that's five thousand dollars, each).

It was pointed out that your profile is almost totally devoid of information (as is your profile on BFC, I might add), and potential buyers were advised to have the knives authenticated, at no charge, by Kevin. To me, this is a perfectly reasonable suggestion, particularly for a big-ticket item.
 
this is a response to bruce i do not need validation from you whoever you are you only know part of the story i acknowledge that kevin responded to my request and that was appreciated and professional what was not was when he questioned the validity and authenticity of my knives kevin has known of me for some time and i am known by many of the big players in the biz kevin and his attitude changed when he asked who it was and i identified myself he made it personal deleted my post etc as for me not posting up much info about myself it is not to hide anything ! after all i use my name in my aol address jaxurman@aol.com as for my charachter just check out the dozen or so post on good bad and ugly for the past month all positive !!! thats nice of you to defend kevin do you even know him or have you met him?? my advice to you dont stick your nose where it doesnt belong !!! especially when you dont know the whole story or all the facts !!!! my reputation is aaa ++platinum!!!!jack

I don't know Cori, and I don't care to. I don't know Allen, and I don't care to. I don't know Kevin at TFC, but based on his deleting my one and only post over there, the one where I gave you the thumbs up, I don't care to.

Dave seems to be pretty legit, I believe that he means well, and means what he says...and right or wrong, he has firm conviction, and as such, I believe I can trust the guy, because he's legit...and though I don't know the fellow, I know his agenda is right up front for everyone to see...and I respect that.

No government department I know off ever pre-paid anything and after delivery, normally has displayed no untoward rush to pay the suppliers. Normally because the guys needing the goodies and the REMF that must process payment do not see eye to eye. Based on my personal experience and also in numerous interactions with MD, Lifter4Him, you are posting hearsay as fact and that makes you a liar. Now if you said you have heard …… semantics …all semantics !

I do agree. Kevin can be a real jerk. This is because he doesn't suffer fools easily ……. Don't be a coward and hide behind others. Diverting attention from your fraudulent activity will not absolve you from fact. By coming over all indignant, you want to play the victim of Big Bad Mad Dog. Well now, it doesn't wash. If you entered into any business dealing without any legally binding and enforceable contact, you are apart from all your other obvious talents, stupid as well. To the moderator of this group….. I am sad to see this forum sink into a feeding frenzy without you stepping in. Allen is obvious not to be trusted but at the same time, has skillfully managed to divert the attention away from his doings and now stands by while the weak pack hunt the strong. Ban me if you please but Kevin is my friend and this obvious display of public rubbish is enough. I will not be true in my friendship if I do nothing now, would I.

Ok, I've had about enough of this.

Allen, I warned you point blank that if you came on these forums and didn't honor your business obligations, you would be removed quickly, and without prejudice. I was more than specific about this. I've been more than lenient.

That's over. No more slack will be cut. Joe's order alone is more than enough for this.

Allen Blade, Scott Allen Fowler, or any individuals in current business association with him are now persona non grata on this website. Your posting priviledges have been removed.

If, and only if, you make good on your business obligations, will you be allowed back here. In the meantime, I'd suggest you get yourself together and get grinding.
