I’d love to replicate the scales - I’ve got no ability to do so right now so it’s a dust collecting project until I can access some tools

I normally Wouldn't do work on somebody else's work, but I probably Would for him.....but, id have to get rid of that exposed tang. Id want the pommel nice and round, and comfy.....
The kind of butt that gets a good rubbing!
