Madd Maxx/Cuda Maxx: Any thoughts?

I have EDC’d the middle knife for over 20 years. The handle has been reanodized which greatly improves the scratch resistance. The custom blade is made of Stellite 6-K which is also used to make tool bits. Stellite is used to coat the edge of bulldozer blades and steamshovel bucket teeth to impart wear resistance.
I’m familiar with the materials. That’s quite impressive for a knife to be carried every day for 20 years and show virtually zero wear.

Miraculous, actually. Looks better than most knives I’ve carried for two years let alone 20. I haven’t seen many Stellite blades since it was the sh!t way back when. That’s fantastic.

It’s funny stuff. It Rockwells in the mid 40’s, but a file won’t touch it. It doesn’t corrode. Good heat resistance. They use it for the injectors in rocket engines. Seldom needs sharpening. Doesn’t chip. If you roll the edge, you can pull it back in line, edge trailing, on a steel pipe.
I have some 5.5” CUDA’s in Talonite (Stellite 6-BH) and a 7” CUDA in Stellite 6-K. My David Boye Dendritic Cobalt folders are Stellite 6-B. Darrel was kind enough to make two 6-K blades to install in factory handles (top & bottom in photo), but I had to furnish the material. My son in law is set up to anodize Titanium, so I can pick a color.View attachment 1912184

Damn cool.

I bought a Camillus "Cuda Maxx" folding dagger for our active duty son when they were introduced back in 2001 or '02. Back then they were $125 while the semi custom Mad Maxx version was a Grand from the Darrwl Ralph shop.

Today, I don't see the semi custom Mad Maxx offered anywhere (Ralph died)), but the Camillus knives are on e-Bay for over a Grand.

Anybody have either version? Any thoughts?
Darrel also did art knives. Here is an out the front double dragon tongue auto as shown in The World of Art Knives. I don’t think it was good for anything but stabbing.View attachment 1912514
