Black is beatiful. I have seen these pieces. Darrel's finishing work on these is as mervelous as Zaza's filigree.

This one is nice, but I like the pattern welded steel one that was in the thread started by mndart better.

Having seen both up-close, I am very happy to have the black DLC one. The black DLC really makes the filigree stand out. I am absolutely delighted with the way both turned out though. The filigree just looks great on the MMIII with that wonderful spearpoint blade.

I REALLY like the black DLC better!! You are right, it does make the filligree stand out!! Gorgeous!!

I think they both look great, but I have always really liked nice pattern welded steel.

Those are gorgeous!! I like them both too, but the DLC just speaks to me!! They are absolutely drop dead grogeous!!
