Excellent work. That haft is phenomenal! I'm usually not into to cutting up axes but that was a good choice in this case. Major kudos.

Thanks! I bought that axe a few years ago just to repurpose the nice older straight haft that it was poorly hung on. I think the axe was originally hung on a fiberglass handle as it had no taper in the eye. Thanks to a few rat tail files, it does now!
