I use same steel that Gränsfors use When I buy it the name are HB 3 .
It´s a steel that are special made for axes

normally aves are fairly pedestrian in appearance but this is a beauty.reminds me of the style of early felling axes. attention is a preresquite when swinging this bevehoth.

Beautiful work! What is the information on the head far left and second from the bottom left above the one with swirl marks? I would like to have one about 2kg. 3kg is about 6lbs and a little too heavy for me.
