I decided to put together a long display cabinet to house a few of my fixed blades. This is what I wound up with:
It's 10 inches deep, 10 tall, and 4 feet long. It has a LED light strip inside for the accent lighting, and the front hinges open to the top for accessing the knives.
As of right now, it is housing the following:
2 Backwoods Customs (thanks Bill!)
1 Jim Parker custom
1 Jim Coffee hunter (thanks Jim!)
2 Shadow Knives customs (Thanks Eddie and Lora!), one model IX hunter, and one double edge necker in blue G10
1 copy of a fur trader's knife from a local maker
1 antler handled "reenactor's" knife from a local maker
1 Randall 2-7
1 Case Rio Grande camp knife
I plan on putting a row along the bottom edge of the back comprised of my nicer slipjoints sometime soon. Overall, I'm quite pleased with how it came out.
Thanks for looking!
