Made a new knife display case!

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Next week I'll be picking up a 2nd 18" led light bar to even out the lighting in the case. I'm going to experiment with changing the tint to the lighting like in the above links to see what I can come up with.

I can't wait for the next round of pics! The case (and knives!) is absolutely gorgeous, so I'm looking forward to seeing how light modifications enhance it. You might want to check out some local high end jewelry and watch shops and see what they do with lighting.

Also, can you post more pics of the case so we can get a feel for how it sits in the room? What height will it be at? Is it, or will it be recessed in a wall? Is it located in a room dedicated to your knife collection?
 
Great work Parke1. I like the way you don't detract attention from the Knives by keeping the display case straight forward and not ornate. Wish I had some carpentry skills.
