Made In America

The military does buy Emerson under GSA contract and does issue Emerson knives to some service members.

That's kinda funny. My Sister has a son who is a Navy Seal.

I asked him about Emerson knives once. He has been in the service for 14 years & said he has never even heard of any service member being supplied with an Emerson.

When I asked what he carried, he laughed and showed me an old beat up Kershaw Black Blur. He said "I think I paid $15 for it & it serves the purpose just fine LOL"

Also, I attempted to give him one of my knives before he went to Iraq at one point.

He asked what it was worth. When I told him around $300, he told me to keep it.

He said there was no way in hell he would take any knife worth that kind of money into a war zone. He said it would be lost or stolen in less than a week. He said the old Blur was perfect as no matter what happened to it he could replace it for almost nothing.

Dear Members,

We have had a number of contracts and also special impact card purchases for the SEAL teams over the years. At one time every class that graduated from BUDS got Emerson Knives, with their class number and motto. I have an office filled with mementos and pictures from various Seal Teams over the last 25 years and numbers of letters from individual SEALs about the performance of their Emerson knives. A number of times we have shipped 100 or more knives to various teams with unit insignia and or task force names on the blades. Many of these have gone to Dam Neck and to various locations in theater. Way back when, Benchmade made hundreds of CQC-7's that were directly supplied to both East and West coast. Many of our "contract" knives are sold through Military GSA contractors and Prime Vendors. We get RFQ's from them on a monthly basis.

When we are shows like SHOT it is safe to say that we have dozens and dozens of team members constantly at our booth showing off their Emerson's and wanting to thank us for the knives they've carried into combat over the years. You can ask anyone who has ever spent any time at our booth at the show.

I have even taught officially contracted classes to various teams at a number of sites over the years.

We've been in any number of books written by SEALs over the years and I get official visits here at our shop every couple of months about different projects that we are working on or consult on with NSW.

I'm just talking about NSW here. We have done the same with all the other services including units that the general public may never be aware of, not to mention all the alphabet agencies.

I guess it's the poppy syndrome.

My Best Regards,

Ernest Emerson

CQC-7 in my pocket today. Need to pick up a Commander next. Thanks for the USA made blades, Mr. Emerson!:thumbup:

Next time you would like to crap in the middle of the family room.... Do it at your own house.
I also doubt that you have a "sister who has a son that is a Navy Seal" both because I doubt the government would allow your family to breed, and because they don't allow people that are deaf and blind in the military (which would be necessary to have never heard of Emerson). Further, most people would refer to a sisters son as a nephew. Please go back under the bridge.

Although, I don't own an Emerson, I very much respect what Mr. Emerson has done with his company.
Thank you for supporting America Mr. Emerson.

Easy son, I never said that he had never heard of them.

I also have never badmouthed Emerson knives, I own a bunch of them and love them.

As far as the personal insults, I won't stoop low enough to respond in kind. You certainly have an awful big mouth to post this drivel especially when you don't even own an emerson.
