"Made in China"

recently i came across an ebay ad for: CMCAM18C Camillus Camco Guthook Knife. in the first line of this ad is "Made in China". are others aware of this new development ? roland
 
Since no one stepped up on this one, I will offer my $.02. CAMCO was one line of knives that Camillus produced. I believe these were meant to be "economy" models and part of that business plan called for overseas manufacturing. Not a new development, just the way it was. I am not an expert on Camillus products so I may be incorrect. Working off memory on this one.
 
thanks Eyegor. i was unaware that any knife associated with the Camillus or Camco name was made offshore. getting well versed in knives is an ongoing process. roland
 
hi right before camillus closed they were impoting camco knives marked china they all were economy priced had etches of a team of mules on the handle, and were appearing on ebay for a short while but dont remember if i saw that model, thanks.
