This Great example of American craftsmanship.
This is an Estwing # 2-hatchet Made in Rockford Illoinis. It has a stacked leather handle and a pinned butt cap. I'm not sure of its age but they don't make um like this any more. I'm guessing 1940's to 50's. The handle is in tact with just a small dent on the left side. The blade is in great shape with no rust or pitting.
