Mike. thanks for the clarification on Bridgeport. When I heard Chapter 11 I assumed that meant bye bye. I'm glad they can continue to stay in business. And I'm also glad others see the point about US manufacturing. I don't expect the Canadians to get it.....
....but a lot of Americans seem to miss the point.
Manufacturing is the backbone of our economy. Exporting it all to other countries is going to leave us high and dry. Buying Amercian has never been so important as it is now, but good luck finding a pair of shoes. Personally I find the idea of having truly important stuff like high tech software for our military being manufactured in India to be a bit disturbing. And it is happening right now.
