i was looking at a spyderco knife at a local knife store and when i saw that the blade was made in china i knew that it wasn;t for me ? so i bought a benchmade 710hssr in m2.what spyderco knife compare to the benchmade knives
An often discussed subject here. If it was marked made in China, then it isn' t a Spyderco product! Just an inexpensive, (putting it mildly) unimpressive copy. Let the responses roll in...
I have collected Spyderco Knives for a couple of years and have never ever seen one marked "made in china". You should have picked it up because it would have to be a collector's item.
.
But seriously, that must have been a cheap copy of a Spyderco. I have had Spydies made in U.S.A. and Seki City Japan, but never in China. Check that knife again and I am sure it is a copy.
