Made My Own Traditional Folders

If you were not a knifemaker then maybe you just became one. At least a hobbyist knifemaker like myself. Very good work, the Antlers just add something to it.

I love these kind of builds because it inspires me to do something similar.
They are friction folders I assume?

I still want to make a friction folder out of a Opinel folder or Herder food knife.
 
Actually they have somewhat of a backspring.... a weak backspring out of an old Colonial :)

So you fitted Colonial backsprings to a Case and Kutmaster blade.
Then it's double as impressive as I thought. You Macgyvered two real working knives from parts. Love it.
 
I am very impressed. I like to make friction folders with blades from "scrap" knives. Could you do a quick run down of how you did it? Are the only parts the backspring, blade, antler, and pins?
