To be honest i dont know yet. That is a concern of mine for sure. I did that to my esee 4 and i havent got a chance to use it yet to know. The becker was for a friend and he isnt much of an outdoorsman. His concern was looking good and having a functional bottle opener. so for his needs they are perfect lol. They do feel nice in hand though and smooth. So only time and use will tell with my esee.
