Got my 12 Inch Tram back from siguy a couple days ago. He really sharpened her up nice. Today I made this sheath for the Tram and a Marttiini Bushcraft Knife. I still need to trim it up a little and add a fire steel loop. I used all Black Chicago screws and the knife sheath can be removed. The knife sheath also holds several of my folders and the belt clip holds them in good and tight. The Mora 510 should also fit although the Marttiinni handle is a bit smaller. When it warms up a little I will go out to the garage and drill a Lanyard hole in the Tram and the Marttiinni and put a brass hollow bushing in.

I had enough leather left to try it, I never had one until today. I just bought a new batch of leather at a gun show. About 60 lbs.

I have one of those squeeze punches and one that you tap with a hammer, It works by far the best. If the neighbors are not home.:D

Here is the one I used today. I got it at the Local farm store.

Thanks guys. I used the 12 inch tram last fall to cut the round steaks on my deer. Once the bone was gone, it was long enough and thin enough to slice some big old steaks. What can be more versatile for 6.00. One of the great values in blades.

Just about every time I order from that one place, I have them throw in a 12 or 14 inch Tram. That makes the shipping pretty cheap.

Looks good, I need to break down and order some leather to make a sheath for my hawk, cardboard and duct tape works but damn is it ugly. Chris

My sheaths are not fancy but I build they pretty tough and they work well for me. Gotta make one for the Mora 740/Farmer. That would get me through most hunting trips. Those would be back-ups for my JK's. (As if you would ever need a back-up for a tank) But I could always loose one. I order leather from a Buck-skinning outfit just thirty miles from me. I get about 60-70 Lbs every other year.
