Just wanted to know what magazines you guys read regularly. I really enjoy stopping at the newsstand, but its cheaper to get a subscription. So, I haven't been out to see new magazines in a long while. Found a magazine called Grit at Wegmans, had an article on sharpening knives, but it is more geared towards gentleman farmers. Haven't even gotten to read it yet.

I get subscriptions to Blade, Tactical Knives, Knife World and Backwoodsman. I was debating getting a sub to Field and Stream, but passed on it. Ten bucks and a free tackle bag, maybe I shouldn't've.

What are you reading?

Backwoodsman!
I am canceling my F&S and Outdoor life subscriptions; after years and years it is all the same stuff over and over.

i am definately a magazine junkie... i only subscribe to 2 of them though: Traditional Bowhunter and Tactical Knives..

i buy a few others on a regular basis/on occasions:

-Backwoodsman
-Wilderness Way
-Field and Stream
-Bike
-Blade
-Mother Earth news
-Backwoods Home

Wilderness Way is the one that I'm thinking of. A couple of good knife articles in the issues I have. My father has a huge stack of Mother Earth News somewhere for me, buried under a mountain of accumulated stuff. A buddy of mine has some Smithsonian magazines, uh, he said about two boxes worth for me.

Get the F&S subscription. They've had quite a few articles lately on Survival, SAR, and other related topics. They now have a monthly feature where readers send in tips like how to use spent shotgun shells as a match case or using peanut butter jars to store cordage.

My subscription was about to end and they called me. Offered a two year extension for something ridiculous, like $20.

They can also be used as strop since they have the clay coated covers :p.

Backwoodsman, of course!

Also(but not necessarily knife-related), Woodcarving Magazine, Toyfare, and my girlfriend's Bon Appetite, Cosmo, and Bust (bathroom reading:D)

I suscribe to Backwoodsman, Traditional Bowhunter and National Geographic Adventurer (some of the best photography I've ever seen).

backwoodsman, countryside, backwoods home, fur-fish-game. all IMO very informative and relaxing reading. just my 2cents worth!!

i have a subscription to Tacticle Knives and i pick up Backwoodsman when they come out.

i used to get American Survival Guide when they were in buisness, i really miss that mag. i still have some in my man cave.

Occationally i pick up a Blade or Knife mag if it looks like its got interesting articles.

Backwoodsman for sure. I got subscriptions to Outdoor Life, Field and Stream, and Cycle World ($14.00 for three years!) because they were so cheap I couldn't resist.

I get Missouri Conservationist, {free to Mo. residents} InFisherman and Bassmasters.
