I'm still loyal to Mag-lite even though they lost their status as an industry leader a very very long time ago. I still Use my 4-D-cell, 2-D-cell, 4-C-cell and Mini-Mag, however all have Terralux conversion units installed. That being said the Solitaire was always the shoddiest product Mag-lite ever produced. I went through three before i gave up and bought a Fenix LOD.

Drawer fodder. No wait, let's change that to slightly better than nothing.
I have two of them and they sit in my desk because it's not difficult, or expensive, to have numerous better options for key fob size light sources.
