Kit Carson produces his Model 4 (Magna design) with metal bolsters and various scale options. I personally like this design option very much however it would be rather costly to do on a production basis. Kit has also commented on this. As a result there is no plan to produce a bolstered model of the Magna. Depending on demand for the Magna this could always be an option in the future.
The 4" blade Aluminim and Zytel Magnas are in production and the 3.1" blade models will be available this Spring.
