Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Wayne Clay inspired hunter skinner in CPM Magnacut/Bastogne Walnut. The skinner is my interpretation of the Clay Alaska/Safari skinner and the hunter is my interpretation of the Walker Special. The Magnacut material is the next step up in high performance blade material with ultra fine grain and toughness. These knives have been heat treated to Rc 63-64 which I believe is manageable because of the super fine grain structure and toughness for light duty field knives. I hope you like them! $850 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to tsteingass@yahoo.com. Thanks for viewing and all comments appreciated.

Beautiful set TK , how did you like working the new steel ?
Thanks Jack! I didn't find it much different than working CPM 3V - it's a bit tougher/harder/wear resistant so the best finish I can get is a satin belt 220 finish. :) I think the performance of the steel will be impressive due to the super fine grain structure and corrosion resistance. This is amazing stuff.

Very cool, I heard a lot of good things about that steel.

Thanks for the kind words fellas. :)
