I tried magnet fishing for my Griptilian when I kicked it off my pier. I never found that knife, even with a big speaker magnet.
that feather looks heavyCaught a few things and my arm is sore .![]()
My wife enjoyed it so much I had to get her one .I ordered a cheap one last year but still haven't gotten around to using it. You've inspired me to go and try it out.
My friend in the U.K. does this, he has winch attached to the magnet. He made enough from junk to buy a boat but it took 3 years. The boat is pretty old but it does have an inboard and a small cabin that would sleep a couple people below the deck.
They actually found a similar item from WW2, they called the metro police, the whole shebang. Usually though they find junk like ruined bikes and other old crap. And knives- a ton of those, none any good but knives are strictly regulated over there so a lot of crooks ditch them into bodies of water. Here's the boat they managed to buy.Tell your friend to be careful, much of the UK has dangerous magnet fishing.
