Recommendation? Magnet for grinding blade flats

I have wondered about the magnet PEU posted, THAT is a strong sucker right there!
I agree! If they made one 3 x 12... I'd buy one for sure. Heck even if it was 2 x 6 or so, it'd be great for free handing!

Oh and currently, I used a welding magnet. The ones that look like a little house with a hole in the center... Similar to the one that @wkfl posted.
 
There are things like this at the hardware store. Home Depot just calls this one a handle magnet and it's around $10. I'm sure there are other options out there.

This is what I use. I put a piece of masking tape over it. That way when it gets covered in filings I just remove the tape and filings go with it. It also protects the blade.

I though I got mine at Canadian Tire or Princess Auto but I didn't see it on their websites.
