...Magnetic INFI...

While playing with my BATACSE this morning I just remembered this thread. And to my surprise my BATACSE is magnetic. :)

So know I have a beast of a knife that can skin, chop, baton, pry, stab, and pick up those small pesty screws when I drop them. :D

Not the AK though. You'd think that as much as I have hammered that thing that the domins would be somewhat alligned. Just stubborn. It does what it wants. ;)

Now this is just wierd...some magnetic, some not:confused:

Now I gotta check to see if I have any of the magnetic INFI

this one isn't magnetic :D

We use electric demagnetizers at work on whatever metal blocks we've been grinding on the magnetic table of a surface grinder. I figure if it ever became a problem (unlikely) I could always just pass my knives over the demagnetizer.

I tested most of my satin Busse s and realized that the more recently produced blades seem to be magnetic. All my older satin Busse blades are not magnetic at all.
Either the magnetic field wore off over time or Busse is doing something different lately.
So that would mean all the BATAC LE's and FBM LE's at the company store should have some magnetic properties. I am assuming the Cultellus will also be magnetic...

My LMS proto is positively attracted to my SHBM. I'm giving them some 'alone time'...just in case. ;)

:D :D

The more you hammer an iron rod, the less aligned become the molecules, so the less magnetic it gets.

Consider for the Moment the "Magic Knife"

To Create an IQ/EGO knife, you must first " Zeroith"(0th) the knife, you then may continue to Imbue the knife to give it additional lvls and powers.

To 0th I like to start by Magnetizing.

Try it, you'll Like it.
