Pala makes a fine model. Good to see him. Hope he's getting rested up from the trip.

A true beauty and nice to know Kami Sherpa is looking over the goods and even showing them off, and he is LOOKING...

To go with the knife, that also must be the world's largest cucumber......

If you to make a choice between the Magnum or the GCB - Which one would it be?

Magnum Ang Khola....probably not as useful in day to day but a rootin' tootin' Nepali knife....you will always see me slide that direction unless i already have something similar....in this case i want the knife but also know it would be just for want.....but i love that thing....maybe i could try out for local Gilbert and Sullivan opera and get the part of The Lord High Executioner if i can bring my own prop....

Prop?.....that is a fine weapon of war on most any battlefield in history....LOOK at that thing.....i adore the proportions...i probably would be the thing out of proportion...a big man's knife...

A kukri as a snickersnee? I don't know, the version I've seen of the Lord High Executioner was an unimpressive, though humorous soul.

Whadda ya think Pala? Good enuff for Kamidog? Id say so. That there is still my grail knife! Before I feed the worms im gonna get me one of those. All I can say sir is that blade looks good on you and Id be proud of your daughter for keeping these fine blades and their history alive! Thank you sir!

Wish I wasn't broke this week. That beast is a masterpiece from the east! Did I just make up a poem? :D
Damn new aluminum f150 has me broke. I couldn't resist the white stead. Now I just have that damn car payment to worry about.

Oh come on GB, I know you can't drive anywhere in a khukuri, but you certainly can't cut anything with a truck!! You can check my logic but I'm pretty sure this doesn't end well for your new truck.

The verdict is in: Nepali steel > American aluminum

Haven't heard no reports on them aluminum trucks. Don't know that I seen one yet but I might see one and not even know it.

Your trucks made from beer cans. your khukuris made from trucks. Sure would look good in a gun rack in the back window of your truck right there under your scattergun.

I keep a khuk jammed between the console and my seat, handle leaning forward for a quick draw. My f .75 truck feels well protected while I'm out gold prospecting. In fact, my truck is so small, it doesn't rate being made out of aluminum. Just recycled pop bottles.

I had Yangdu send friend a 15" Ang Khola which now lives in his vehicle as a true bit of his kit which is an honor if you knew him...mine is the KLVUK as it stays handier and more prone to a lot of (miss)handling as it gets bonked around along with the equally bonked whippet shotgun....and both fighting for often the same honored handy spot in the rather unroomy frugalmobile jammed against the console....

But what i want to know is has anyone bought that gorgeous huge Ang Khola....i simply cannot afford such at this time but the knife is gorgeous...

Fun fact: An AK of that size technically will not split logs. The log halves actually just jump out of the way of that massive monster whistling towards it :D

A chopping beast that will last 6 generations, for sure.

Have you noticed how light the Magnun looks in Pala's hand.

I bet he can pop your eye balls out just at shaking/squeezing your hand. :D
