Magnum AK for 8/29

Can't get this knife out of my head. It also occurred to me what does owning a knife that we have pictures of Pala actually holding and inspecting do to the cool factor of owning it in the first place.

I can visualize that knife with a blown up picture of Pala checking it out in the back ground.

Just wondering if I have enough manhood left to actually pick the thing up.

I think I held one similar to that at Aunties, wasn't all that bad. Heat pads and a little Ben Gay the next morning and I was good to go.

So now the question??? Where do I find 375 bucks plus shipping. I probably got the shipping part unless it has to come by truck, so scratch that off the list........
Darn I miss my kids penny banks.
 
I'm with you. I go back to this thread time and again to see if it gets bought. My M43 is robust, but this thang....
 
You two together could probably afford to buy it for me...

I wonder if the blood bank is open on Labor Day....
 
I realize this is 4lbs, but wonder how well it would work cutting the brush from my ditch?
Im with you three, i check back almost everyday. Seeing its still available, time to go find something else to put up for sale.
 
I've got one. I'm no body builder so I'd probably last about 5 or 6 good swings before I had to put it down :D

To be brutally honest, a machete it is not. Doubtful if would work too good for brush in the ditch.

The length would be a plus, I have a ditch with brush, mostly grass that I can't get at with a mower, can't get at with much of anything with my current transportation.

BUT, with one of these Magnums, I might have better luck persuading my son or the neighbor kid to get in there with the weedeater. Something to think about fo sho me thinks.

Fingers crossed I may have just completed my Thamar Trifecta and if so I'll for sure be out of the running on this beauty. I do wish you good luck and comfort thyself in that if the Magnum wants to live with you, it will find a way. I know this to be true.

Several people, I think jealous folks that can't grow a proper mustache have told me if I shaved my energy level and stamina would inprove more than 43%. Your just the fella to ask. You think there's any possible truth to this or just urban legend.
I really don't want to risk it myself, I have no upper lip without a stache.

Bawanna, i take your non machette comment to heart. Im trying to help my justification dialogue for the magnum. I think the length will help, i do it now with a lesser machete.

Im no body builder either, but am a 6 ft and 210lb piano mover. I know i could swing her a good bit, i just need a job for her and her alone, where she will shine

Well read my post again, I gave you your justification. You sit on the porch fondling your Magnum watching the kids clean out your ditch. Works for me. 6ft, 210 huh. If we ever tangle I'll be sure to have my lunch and a little nap afore hand.
I'm only 5'6 but I'm wiry. Well actually I'm not wiry as I used to be, a bit more Pilsbury Doughboy maybe.
 
I truly doubt we would ever tangle, im bald, and dont play twister anymore. I meant no angst in my comment. I accept your comment as my justification is poor, which i appreciate. I realize Magnums best suited role, i just need to find another use. Its bad enough im selling the missis jewelry to finance this acquisition. Seeing the streets arent full of zombies, or unlawful vagrants even, i need another box i can check.

The problem with one of these monsters is not swinging it, but stopping it before it comes back at you. It would be good to have something like a tree trunk or a thick limb to stop that swing. For cutting brush it's overkill, in more than one way.

My downfall is age.....i am not losing my hair but it is receding into my head and coming out my nose and ears...the facial stuff has gone from hair to small gauge wire razor killer...

Took long enough but I knew it was coming.

Auntie is out and about taking care of some stuff for her father today. Do NOT be dismayed if she's a bit slow in responding.

Since we've seen a couple of these giants lately I'd not be surprised if she had more than one anyhow so with that in mind I forsee a Magnum in your very near future.

Wow, and i was right there......how romantic!....sigh.....

As with my tarwar and most everything i have ever bought, the reasons are only excuses.....but, my, are they nice to have......you can always enjoy, and recoup some funds with a sale if you find something else calling.....that is me....i do not buy guns or knives, i lease them......helps keep that stewardship idea foremost in mind as every one of them will outlast us if we only care for them....
