Magnum22, origins of your name?

Oddly enough, my two favorite handguns have 22 associated with them. My Glock 22(.40 cal) is the one I'm gonna grab in the middle of the night, but for shear firepower my Grendel p-30 is freakin awesome. Especially the muzzle blast from a short barrel and 30 rounds of .22 mags. Whoohoo!!!

This isn't my pic btw.

Holy Doodle, a gun I haven't seen before!

What is that? It looks like a Kel-Tec/Colt combo. The Grendels I am familiar with are low capacity, center-fire autos.

Can you get parts for that?

Cool!

I read an article about the Grendel in Guns & Ammo a very long time ago, but you're the only guy I know who actually has one. *pause while I seethe with envy* I have an Erma .25, got it at junk price but it shoots okay and with bottle-blue and sanding the grips it looks acceptable. Also have a Makarov I like a lot, now that the trigger has 'worn in'.

either of you guys into mouse guns? 380's or 32's? know any nice ones in 22? there is the firestorm bersa, never touched it, but i'd sure love a cz-83 in .22. oh there it goes, a dream pistol, just happened right there.

I'm not "into" mouseguns, per se, but I do carry one every day, a Kel-Tec P32, which is my "always" gun, the gun I am carrying even when I'm *not* carrying a gun.

I like it and have had no trouble with it. Nice little gun that will make holes that are distracting, if not necessarily fatal.

A guy could do a lot worse than having a Enfield and using the .303 cartridge.
One of the best cartridges I never owned.

Fun on the range, has never failed in the field:thumbup:

I am really liking my SIG mosquito in 22LR. Its taken some bad reviews in some other forums, oh well

My real mouse/rat gun is a Beeman R7 in .177:D

A real nice .32acp, if you can find one, are the Manhurin manufactured post war surplus Walther PPs

My friend the gunsmith got one of those Walther's chambered for 32 acp. Instead of mouse gun, I called it a mailbox gun- for all those mailboxes bullets just can't seem to leave alone in rural Montana.

Try 1/4" seamless steel tubing welded to a 2" steel pole, anchored with a concrete block. I fractured a wrist on one of those bastards in high school.
