Thanks Jack!
You are clearly included in the 'to be always trusted' catagory and you have been so from well before my first transaction with you. I did my due diligence well before my first purchase here on BF's and it has served me well.
As I like to impart a bit of myself to each maker/seller throughout our transactions in PM's or emails, I also am rewarded with some great stories and communication in return. These 'moments' help the both of us to get a better feel for one another, which is never a bad thing. I enjoy those exchanges very much.
That some very long term, well respected, 100% feedback members with numerous transactions are now quite often being 'called out' here in the GBU section (and a very large % of these assertions have clearly been supported), is both disturbing as well as a sad commentary on where some are placing their priorities. If 'greenbacks' and/or a coveted knife is worth tainting our reputations over, we have certainly begun establishing new lows in how we view and embrace our own integrity.
If it were not for members like yourself, 'sisk' and many others, I would not enjoy this forum nearly as much, much less feel comfortable enough to drop a few bucks now and again without wondering, "is it my turn in the hopper"?
I'd rather be hated for what I am than loved for what I'm not. A steadily growing number of members here (some veteran members), as of late, don't embrace this position and have shown their true colors in that regard and it's not pretty.
