Maintaining an edge

For my knives that I use on my land. I use a Worksharp Ken Onion that I keep in my barn.

For my EDC stuff and “better” knives. I use a Sharpmaker.

My customs and high end stuff. Freehand.

Sounds like a good system.

Previously, with cardboard loaded with stropping compound, but I bought a Spyderco 306UF ultra-fine ceramic stone to substitute the strops (or at least minimize the stropping to just a few passes per compound) and I'm hoping it'll restore some bite in my edges.
