I set off today with the intention of finding some animal tracks but the trails were either so covered in leaf litter or made of such wet mud that it made it difficult.....

I did find the remains of a squirrels pine cone feast but even he had left no tracks.....

Would ya believe that I only saw one other person during the entire walk but that person appeared when I stopped to take a leak......what's the chances !!!!!

Anyway we pushed on......

I decided to gather some Cedar bark and fatwood shavings using my JK and test my firemaking skills using my ferro rod....

I was thinking how good one of JK's Mini Nessies would look in the pics, if ya haven't seen them hop over to his site and check them out !!!!

I suddenly noticed Maisy had become distracted by some burrow and had stopped to investigate.....

As hard as I tried to not get another dog after putting my last one down, that didn't last.

I think its hardwired into humans to enjoy the company of a good pooch like Maisy.

pitdog, thank you, again, for some awesome pics of my favorite "almost" celebrity dog.

Great pics pit - Looks like Maisy could use some help from the little terrior :)

Those pics look awesome

I wonder what was in the hole for Maisy to be so interested? Did you see any sign of what it may have been?

Excellent pictures pitdog. I just have visions of you sitting down, with your heals planted on that stump and heavy on Maisy's two back legs trying to puller her out :D
