I'm having a seriously strong urge to buy a 14. It all started when I got the idea to get a blade setup to match my Kahr CW9 and the bought came to me, what if I put together a BK14 with black micarta scales to match my Kahr?

Now I am left spending all my free time fighting the urge to click 'buy' as the funds are not available right now. Sigh... I hate being patient...

Nice! Where'd you get the SH@RP scales at? The look I wanna get is similar but with a stripped blade. That combo would be awesome.

But just wait 'till you have the spare cash - I don't think they'll stop making 'em anytime soon.
Adding a custom sheath and awesome scales makes it a bit more...

I don't think Sh@rp has been making scales for a couple years now.
You can make your own.
No 14, but here's my 24 with homemade mycarta, and modded 11 in wood I got from a neighbor's tree:

Here's a BK14 done by K9 Handler.
This knife will go to my daughter. She still has a year or two to go though. Lol



 
I don't have a 14 (not partial to the coated blades), but I did finally pick up a 24. I had a nagging feeling to get one since they first came out, but never pulled the trigger. I should have. Helluva knife.
 
I just got my 14 this week and I love it, been carrying it everywhere! I have the orange Ka-Bar scales on mine. Hang in there, good things come to those who wait...very good things like a BK14!:)
