make-by-numbers: a start to finish project

Hey to All and Christof. Just wanted to say I had Christof make this set as a Christmas Gift for my mother in law. I contacted Christof and he was off. I gave him basic info and you see what he created. I think they will be perfect. The other thing I asked is he create this thread to show the process of the knives. My mother in law is a Artist so to speak and I thought she would enjoy and appreciate seeing the process once she gets them. With that being said I just want to tell Christof "Thank You" publicly. You have been gent to deal with. And It will not be the last purchace. Crazy thing is I have been lusting over Koyote knive for a while and not the first one I buy but the first set goes off as a gift. I will get my bushcrafter in due time though. Thanks again Christof. And to any one sitting on the fence go ahead.
 
I've enjoyed the work- refining the utility design and the getting a better profile ont he santoku. I've really enjoyed the impetus to do a photo-build, even if I could have taken a few more pictures :D

Got them today and they are great. Hate that I have to give them away now. I do see a bush crafter in my future.
 
Good deal! I'll be interest in how the smaller knife gets used- I've got one in the kitchen here and it's really just too handy for words.
