Those Kabar Dozier lockbacks are good knives for $20,the original blade one is a good hunter,the drop point,a good utility

AG Russell came out with a re vamp of the "Hunters Scalpel" (I think he calls it) it is a mini version of the Deer Hunter/Bird & Trout,that's gotta be a handy knife as well & I think its in the $20 range

Go to a Lowes in your area.

They have the SS Case Sod Buster JR with black plastic scales for $17 and change.

My suggestion too - in fact I just picked one up last month.

Got my dad a red bone Peanut, CV. He got so excited about my yaller one this summer, I almost left it with him, but then he said he'd rather have a bone one, so ... there it sits on my nightstand, waiting for his December visit.
