I was skimming this thread...

...and wanted to add to it...

Larry harley builds his Hawg Knife...and if you have has a chance to handle it you can see some of what he knows about knife design.....from the standpoint of experience at a specific task...that is killing hawgs...

While I am no expert on the subject...I would say he has perfected a tool for that purpose...

Also, I feel this has been a "signature" knife for him....

And again...IMHO....while the design aspects are a compilation of many influences from Larry's life and first hand, real world experience I feel it is an original design....

I would also like to add Peter Marzitelli with his dinosaur theme knives.
Unique and innovative quality knives.

Do you have any photos of Mr. Harley's Hawg Knife?
 
Here's another very popular Fisk model.
Jerry designed the "Gamemaster" more specificlly as a hard use Hunter, where the Sendero is more of an all purpose design.

The handle design offers good feel in hand and power to the blade.

This perticular Gamemaster is the "most dressed up" one I have seen.
