That's kinda disappointing. I don't, or ever have, own a Sar8, however, my Sar6 chops pretty damn fine for a 6" blade! Much more so than his 8! I have mixed feelin's about this video...

Thanks for posting, always refreshing to see different perspectives

Not disputing anything but the knife sure did seem to get through everything pretty easily with its factory edge, clean or not :D Would of loved to of seen him go at something big for an extended amount of time after the small stuff. I wouldnt expect it to work as well as a many other things on the market but it has a good balance of things going for it IMO.

It took me a decent amount of time (novice) to get through this dried out bad boy below with my sarge-7 but I had absolutly NO blister action or limp wrist after an extensive chop session, best of all the factory edge still as sharp after I was done.

ETA-Wonder how much a difference the LBs have over the non LBs in the hand hurt dept?
Demoteamone- what are thoughts on the vid seeing that you posted it?

I own 3 Busse. I ask the shop to customize the edges when I bought them, they didn't even charge me for that.
The argument of Kyley don't have foundations of existence to begin with.

I was wonderin' what side a the fence you were sittin' on. Glad to hear your thoughts!!! Having said that, his bush sword looks like the SAR8 raped a BRKT Bravo1...

Having owned a SAR8 I can't understand how badly that was going through the wood. My thoughts are
1) The knife is blunt from use
2) The wood is super hard
3) His technique is rubbish.

I'm saying it may be a combination of all. My SAR8 flew through wrist thick wood with no problems. As for feedback/shock in the hand when using, never had any. To each their own though.

(Having looked at the video again I rate his knife use/technique as woeful. Hold it like a man and swing it with some force. Do not grip it lightly and slap at the piece of wood you want to cut. No wonder it didn't cut through even small branches)

I'll have to watch it again some time. Made no sense to me. Yadayadayada he thinks it's too thick, so it's deceptive marketing that he bought it, and his own knives are great. Is that it ?

You have to follow the above link and watch his other video with another knife and compare the performance on the same wood.

This guy is such a dishonest POS it is amusing. He is like a lot of other jealous Busse bashers that make videos that are so obviously bias it is amazing they can live with themselves. I have seen this before with others where they put 1/3 or less of the energy into the Busse to chop/cut compared to whatever product they are trying to hype or sell. LMAO at this moron.

He bought a SAR-8. He can say what he wants about his SAR-8. He shouldn't be called a POS or worse because he likes his coffee black and you like your soy skim decaf latte.

Its a chopper and mine works great,I use mine to open game trails for shooting lanes, and as for hand shock any knife ,axe or hammer will give you hand shock but i dont want to start a Physic lecture right now,and FYI best money i,ve ever spent oh and thanks for shairing brought me to a lot of great SAR8 vidio's where the knife kicked some *** on some big trees ,I have nothing but respect on your opinion, and I have NO REGRETS,,,,,,Just

Respect

Not sure I gained much from the 2nd one  The busse seemed to be as effective. Maybe a little less so then again his testing isnt very controlled and any technique he has displayed thus far could be outdone by nearly any 10 year old boy scout. Judging by how minty fresh his workout uniform is Im gonna say he has soft hands :D

Yeah, some of there knives may have some extra meat behind the edge(send it in and likely for $0 they will improve it). Ive seen a many describe busse in general as sharpened prybars. Yes, they have some, but it would be foolish to judge the company based on cpl of models when they have so many different ones it will make your head spin.

Also, what type of warranty does he offer against complete stupidity?

I respect everyone's right to have an opinion on any given subject, knives included. But this is NOT an objective opinion video.

The second video reveals his agenda. Basically, he is saying that his knife is better...

I suppose if I was a knifemaker, I'd attempt to claim my knife was better too. After all, he wants to sell his knives.

Given that fact, this really isn't a knife review so much as it is intended to be a marketing piece showcasing the superiority of his knives.

But what do I know... I'm a fan-boy. Interesting that Kyley doesn't seem to have any. *yawn...

Kind of reminds me of a video of "If the glove don't fit"
I normally don't commit on crap like this, but this is blatant crock of crap video.

Note to self, "Don't get drunk and do stupid trash mouth Knife don't cut Ship and look like a dumb-ass limp wristed douche bag that doesn't know how to use a knife to chop with video"
Because I don't want to look like a stupid tool that doesn't have a clue to the whole world...

That guy is a tool....I use my SAR 8 for every thing, it is my main user blade and I've had hundreds of Busse's....

Dude, get a life.....I've seen better acting in old Sonny and Cher movies.

^^^^ LOL! Sonny and Cher would be academy award winners compared to that acting. Hell, I've seen better acting from ELVIS! :D Not to disparage the King.

Still, his technique seemed to improve dramatically when demonstrating his own knives. Suppose he's just a quick learner after that torturous backyard testing in which the Sar 8 completely failed on finger sized twigs when swung in a half-hearted attempt.

The purpose of the video's is obvious. He would like his blades to be mentioned in the same sentence as Busse, and his videos are the only way it will ever happen.
