I fully agree with him: The SAR-8 is the best looking Busse ever produced.

For me too.

Whatever KH agenda is, I really don't care, I also most likely will never buy one of his knives, I will buy another Busse, mostly because to me, they are beautiful... I do however know exactly what he is talking about, maybe in all my INFI blades I've just been plain unlucky, but performance wise.. they really are lacking, the edges are thick and you feel like your having to put more effort in to get the same work done from a different blade, thin them out and it rolls to easy.. so its 6's........ Busse would really be my first choice for a heavy duty work type, chop the shit out of wood and have fun type blade, but a knife to perform most tasks.... I don't even consider INFI in that category anymore,. my 2 worst are a NMSFNO that rebounds off of wood better than Tim Duncan in the play offs and a Boss jack that's about as useful as a dead bird dog, but if the right Boss jack hit the exchange I'd snap it up in a second.

I also am mistrustful of those who make "reviews" when they have an axe to grind.

I have had poor edges on a knife or two from them. Nothing I could not fix.

Busse has models that are "too much tough" and not enough "slice". Particularly some that are too meaty behind the edge. (ALA the Boss Jack Proto).

My KZII had a killer thick grind on the last few inches of the tip. Obtuse, and dull, I had to do some serious work to get it where I wanted it. No biggie, but I know how to use sandpaper, and a belt sander to re-profile.

It was much tougher with the original grind, and I could have left the original angles, and just sharpened it a bit.

But I took the shoulders and made it shaving sharp all the way out to the tip.

If I intended to use the KZII to wreck stuff, I would have left it how it came.

You cannot make on design to please all. Everything is a compromise.

Nothing I have heard yet has indicated that the Sar8's are anything but super sharp.

The only reason why I'll watch youtube is for music videos or funny ones. Otherwise, youtube is simply just the short bus of the internet
