maker of modern set blue samurais?

These are nice quality blades of obvious new make. Does anybody recognize the maker? The tag is still on the short sword, in Japanese of course. THANKS!

Paul Chen Hanwei out of China. From what i understand they are good usable swords for the price.

Thanks! The larger sword seems to be a model they call the Praying Mantis. They sure are solid, nice swords. Now that I know what my friend paid for them the value is clear.

if you dont mind me asking, what was the price on them?
I'm thinking about picking up the Paul Chen Tactical Tanto soon. Just because i like the idea of a more traditional but still utilitarian tanto.

They are the Golden Orieole model. I think they are very nice looking blades

Yes, Golden Oriel confirmed.
They seem to be of very high quality, although my friend did not put them to any real use while he owned them. The katana retails in the $900 range for this model. Beutiful modern swords.
