Maker of Vintage "KVL" or KLV" Custom Boot Knife

Anyone recognize the maker of this boot knife? I suppose the mark could be "KVL" or KLV"? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I don't know, but I'm wondering if that could be a product of Ken Largin who of late has used the "Kelgin" mark and that mark could be style nr. 5 "V".

I've owned a few dozen of Ken's knives and it just doesn't look like his style or his work. Not out of the question though.
