I carry this knife camping. It's too big for EDC use.

I use my kitchen knives every day. I can't imagine using anything else.

I generally carry but don't use the only folder I've made to date but I use my own kitchen knives for most of my cooking. Just need to fill out the set a little more.

I'm also working on a knife now which I hope will become a daily carry.

I finally started carrying and using one of my own , I made this one to take with me on a vacation back at the end of May , been using it every day since , carried in horizontal carry on the belt. Blade is just a smidge under 3"

I like to carry my knife designs, as I'm sure other makers do, to see what it's like to use it on a daily basis.
I also Have a folder I just got from lon aguiar that I carry.

I am currently carrying the one on the right. It is from my second batch of knives.

However, I am considering comandering this one and carrying it.

I actually carry TWO of my own knives every day..... a Mosaic damascus EBK-II, and a mosaic damascus utility folder, based on my Progression II design.

I personally feel that carrying one of your own knives is the best way to sell them. (I can't count the number of knives I've sold out of my pocket or off my belt) It also speaks to the fact that your not only a knifemaker, but a knife user, which tends to make me believe that an individual who carries their own, has likely used them, and has a better insight into what works, and what does not, than someone who doesn't use their own product.

I used to carry this 01 ugly duckling either in my truck, backpack, or camping. It was given away, and I am going to make me a replacement out of A2 when I can afford to keep one for myself.

ed...u make a good point....i have heard alot of makers tell me that they sell alot of the knives right off their belt.....makes sense.....ryan

p.s.-i am still kicking myself that i ever sold my ebk....one day i'll get another...very useful knife!....ryan

I carry my own every day. To me there is no better satisfaction than to use the tool I made with my own hands.

Here is my utility. I have been carrying it for about two months. I have changed the handle, it is still para wrapped just in a different style. I never cared much for para handles but I have to say this one has been quite comfortable.

Here is the knife I take when hiking/camping.

Here's mine. I work on a hunting ranch so this thing has done it's share of gutting. It has been abused, but it still works great. Taken many orders due to having one on my belt EVERY SINGLE day. It helps.

This is my EDC. It's also my shop knife. Hollow ground 5/32" x 1" in D-2
