Makers.....let's see some early stuff???

Speaking of an older piece of work here is one of Bill Siegle's Tanto's, one with a 3/16" thick, blade is about 5 1/8" long, cord wrapped and epoxy coated, chiseledge and well ground!

These are truly unique !!

They have guards, they are ATS-34 and are marked "NEILS". My Dad, myself and my Son, all NEIL's, worked on them :) I think I made one other knife from that bar of ATS-34 then I switched to other materials. The guards are a mix of brass, bronze, silver and some other unknown brazing rods, melted together in a crucible using my dads propane forge. (it looks like tarnished brass know)

These knives are small, 3 finger style, measureing only 6 3/4" in length. They have been used to field dress and process, MANY deer and other critters but are now VERY much retired :cool:
