Makers Mark After Heat Treat

So I got my stamp from Everstamp. Currently building a press for it. But Ive been thinking. I have to stamp it before heat treat, so after heat treat and hand sanding again, its going to be dark or full of "scale". Is there an easy way to clean this out? Or should I just leave it for a bolder look?

I don't do anything other than blow it out with compressed air.

You'll want it to be black inside the mark. It is easier to read that way.

My first 2 blades with the stamp! I like it! Building the press for it was a nightmare but all is well now.
