Hey guys I have all my parts together for making my first couple of knives and I am almost done. I also have all the parts for my first folder coming in as we speak. Ive got a huge problem. I want to get into knifemaking more seriously but I need a name. I have been thinking for months know what I could call myself or like company whatever you want to call it. For some reason I just cant find a name thats simple but catchy. I thought maybe you guys could help me out, or even tell me a bit about how you got your names if its not just your own name. I also need it to be simple enough to be made into a punch. I am just having a really hard time trying to figure this out.

My name is Liam Cooley and I am Canada. Not much else gives off a name. I am proud to be Canada and want to be able to say proudly made in Canada. The only good thing I can think of is Liam Cooley Knifeworks/Bladeworks or even just Cooley. Not sure maybe something like Cooley Custom Knife CCK? I am not sure and I need someones opinion. I dont really care much what my name is its just I want other people to be able to think of it. By think of it I mean simple enough to remember but yet identifiable.

If Anyone could help me out it would be great! Thanks guys!

Don't make it complicated - that is how customers will remember you best.
Cooley Knives would work just fine.
Cooley - something.
Cooley - anything.
But use YOUR NAME!!!

This.

L. Cooley would be fine. Someone mentioned this a while back when I was coming up with mine that putting knives or custom knife on there is kinda redundant. It would be like an automobile manufacturer putting "car" or truck" next to their name on the actual vehicle. Anyone buying it from you knows its a knife and it was also custom made. If you want to put a logo on there for Canada, maybe put a Maple leaf under it. Or if you don't want to go with a symbol L. Cooley with Canada underneath it would be fine too.

Good suggestions.

I like L. Cooley with ~Canada~ underneath OR

Thanks guys what do you think about these?

And thanks for all the help guys I just want to get my branding down before I start showing stuff.

While they look good (except the last one) that size by the time you shrink it down to the size of a mark it would be unreadable.

I was thinking about that. Maybe just a C for the stamp/mark. Im thinking just Liam Cooley knives or something now.

Liam Cooley with Canada underneath I would go with. I'm willing to bet 100% of the people who you either sell it to or show it to will realize it's a knife :D
