Hey guys, I'm brand new to the forum, and also very new to knife making. it started as a hobby, but folks are showing an interest in my work. I've already received a few order for knives, and am trying to find the most economical option for a makers mark. not sure what my options are, or where to even shop for one. I have a simple design in mind, and already created the image. any suggestions on where to start?

For about $100 you can pick up an etcher and all the supplies needed to do your own.. hit up one of the well know USA Knife suppliers online. Not sure if that is economical or not for you though. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to put your design into stencils if you don't want to pay someone to do them for you.

I have used Electro-Chem since 1998
A nice & helpful lady named Maria usually answers the phone. Mail your design to them.
I have their Personalizer Plus machine and it works great! You can see my logo on a blade on my site if you like? http://www.ecemmi.com One stop shopping.

If you are dong one or two at at time, look into laser engraving.

They will do perfect work

It's about 10$ per mark.

If you're dong several, it's worth electro etching.
