OK, good - it is amazing how difficult it can be to describe the shapes of a script, and perhaps even more so how difficult it is to envison what someone else is describing!

for the number, I guessed this must be it. The date is 2045. But unless your kukri is from the future, I assume it must be in Vikram Samvat dating, which would make it from 1989A.D. or 1988A.D., depending on when during the year it was made exactly (traditional Hindu new year begins today actually, with divali).
