Makers - what would you like to hear from collectors? Part 2

I'm curious how much "PR" work collectors do about pieces from new makers, and whether or not certain circles of collectors can make or break a repuation. I see reviews of particular pieces by some experianced collectors, but in what ways does that influnce the collectors community.

Also, how do collectors feel about newer makers seeking a review from them?

I want to say thanks to Peter and Gill for doing an amazing lecture on this. They were very concise, polite and there was a good amount of humor also. I had been looking forward to this lecture for some time. Two thumbs up guys :)
