Got these two recently. Terrific deals from guys who each put a heckofa knife together. Sheaths are very well made too.

I use Will's knife as my primary kitchen knife and have taken to using the Hargis as a utility blade. Both are able to hold an edge well and sharpen easily. I had the lemon cutter made from scratch and bought the Hargis from the maker's forum.

I recommend either maker! Easy transactions and excellent communication.

Rocky,

Those are nice.. I like the Leavitt, that's an interesting design, is it yours or his?

It's his design, I just had him tweak it a bit because his original was strictly for kitchen use and I like to use mine both in and outdoors.

Steve,
Thanks for the kind words... it was orginaly designed as a "subtle self defense" knife. The name comes from the original design, a friend is a bar manager and carries this. When asked what's it for he tells people "cutting lemons." The original design doesn't have the exposed butt, Steve wanted it longer so he got it longer :) just a little extra hammering on my part :p

Thanks again Steve, I really enjoyed working with you to make your knife yours.

Ahhh, subtle self defense. Well my mistake and dang the knife is awesome! We will be working together soon!

great looking blades Steve... i like them both...:D i really have been eyeing those Hargis knives lately.. they look like solid users...

I bought a knife from Will several years ago and I still use it - it's one of my truck knives that I can throw in my pocket for cutting bale twine and stuff. He's a good guy.

James,
Well I'm glad you're back in God's country or at least what passes for it in Texas :p Somehow an osage handled knife seems destined to be a "truck knife", glad it's still working for you.

Y'all finished your schooling yet?

Thanks Rockywolf! I'm glad It's working out for you. I love to see when someone is putting my knives to good use. Thanks again, Joe
